Looks Will Smith won’t be involved in Disney’s “Dumbo”.
Smith entered negotiations for a human role in the live-action adaptation of the animal classic, which Tim Burton is directing for the Mouse house, but talks have broken down. Disney and the actor couldn’t agree on salary and scheduling.
Smith was in talks to play the father of two children who befriend Dumbo. Tom Hanks has also been offered a role, playing the film’s villain.
“Dumbo” shoots this summer.
