Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, producers Walter Parkes and Laurie MacDonald say the ‘reboot’ won’t likely involve the Fresh Prince.
Parkes said they’re “in the middle of” planning the new film which will be the first part of a new trilogy.
No word on whether the idea to crossover the “21 Jump Street” and “Men in Black” franchises is still one that Sony is considering.
While Smith isn’t a part of the new “Men in Black” instalment/s, he is believed to be a lock for two new “Bad Boys” movies.
