This is long before he met Lois, years before he got the job at The Daily Planet and having Richard Pryor play computer tricks with a bank isn’t even a meagre contemplation at this point.

In Season 2 of the effervescent series, Clark and unremitting love interest Lana Lang (Kristin Kreuk) have just survived the terrible tornado that rocked their small Kansas town. He’s still ogling over her, but he’s got bigger fish to fry – e.g., the ‘villain of the week’ – and some discoveries to make about his background and why all of a sudden he’s inherited some sort of heat vision.
