A few days back it was reported that local actress Robin McLeavy (“The Loved Ones”) had snagged the role of Mary Todd in director Timur Bekmambetov’s “Abraham Lincoln : Vampire Hunter”.
Seems the announcement was a tad premature; though McLeavy was seemingly on the short list, “Scott Pilgrim vs. The World” actress Mary Elizabeth Winstead was too. She’s the victor, says THR.
The Tim Burton produced film, which Fox will distribute, stars Benjamin Walker as a young Lincoln, fighting vampires in the Civil War. Dominic Cooper and Anthony Mackie are also onboard.
