Joining Rose Byrne for new Boxing movie
According to The Sunday Herald Sun, Ray Winstone is tipped to join Rose Byrne for the upcoming Aussie boxing movie, “The Tender Hook”.
Byrne (“Troy”, “Marie Antoinette”) replaced fellow Aussie Radha Mitchell for “The Tender Hook”, a stylish 1920’s noir film to be filmed in Melbourne. Matthew Le Nevez (“Man-Thing”)and Hugo Weaving co-star in the film, which follows a young woman’s rise to the apex of a love/power triangle in the world of boxing.
The project was announced mid last-year, but has since had some cast reshuffles and a change of location – it was originally set to film in Sydney.
