Former “Friday Night Lights” babe cum short-lived ‘Wonder Woman’ Adrianne Palicki will play Lady Jaye in the “G.I Joe” sequel, while Bruce Willis is rumoured to be a frontrunner for the role of Joe Colton in the Paramount sequel.
Deadline says Channing Tatum, Dwayne Johnson, Ray Park, Byung-Hun Lee and RZA are already onboard the Jon M.Chu-directed actioner.
The film, penned by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, is being conveniently rushed towards the cameras as Paramount won’t have a tentpole for a couple of years (“Star Trek 2” won’t be ready for 2012 as hoped).
Palicki also appears in the upcoming “Red Dawn” remake.
