Youtube stars Hannah Hart and Grace Helbig are set to be Legendary Entertainment’s “first female superheros”.
Hart and Helbig have teamed with Legendary and Fullscreen to reboot Sid and Marty Krofft’s 1970s campy superhero action TV series “Electra Woman and Dyna Girl”.
Helbig will play Electra Woman and Hart will be Dyna Girl in the show about two superheroes who move from Akron, Ohio, to Los Angeles in hopes of making it big in the crime-fighting world, only to find competition with other vigilantes and infighting among themselves.
The show follows the pair’s recent digital feature film “Camp Takota” which was picked up by Netflix last year.
