Avengers 4 title revealed… twice!?

The next “Avengers” movie isn’t – as you’ve likely heard by now – called “Avengers : Infinity War Part 2” – despite being known as simply that during production. When it was decided that 2019’s “Infinity War” would be a stand-alone movie experience (that, um, ends on a cliffhanger so..), producers opted to give the follow-up it’s own title.

According to recent reports, the title may have been revealed as “Avengers : Annihilation”.

Or is it?

A new report suggests that the title of the Russo bros’ film is actually “Avengers : The Last Avenger”.

Here’s what’s happened…

Star Mark Ruffalo appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon last week and when asked what the title of the new film is, the show amusingly laid a ‘bleep’ over the actor’s answer. All intentional, I might say.

Trailer Track’s Anton Volkov (via ComicBookMovie) was able to remove the bleep via some technical wizardry, and Ruffalo seemingly says, “The Last Avenger.”

Still, most are sticking with the “Avengers : Annihilation” title for now – seemingly convinced Ruffalo gave a fake title name to throw people off.

Venom a $205m hit; definitely getting a sequel
