Free Guy and Shang-Chi will get exclusive theatrical bows

Despite the announcement today that Dwayne Johnson starrer “Jungle Cruise” is going to premiere on Disney+ day-and-date with its theatrical, the studio will release “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings” and “Free Guy” in a purely theatrical window.

“Free Guy”, starring Ryan Reynolds, will release August 13 while “Shang-Chi” will bow September 3.Both films will then be available on Disney+ after 45 days.
