Pullman to lead Salem’s Lot

James Wan producing the latest adaptation of the Stephen King novel

"Salem's Lot"

Lewis Pullman, the young offspring of “Independence Day” actor Bill Pullman and one of the stars of the forthcoming “Top Gun : Maverick”, will star in the latest film adaptation of Stephen King’s “Salem’s Lot”.

Pullman plays the lead role of Ben Mears in the Gary Dauberman written-directed pic. Mears, as those familiar with the source material will recall, is a man who returns to his childhood home of Jerusalem’s Lot in search of inspiration for his next book only to discover his hometown is being preyed upon by a vampire, leading him to band together a ragtag group that will fight the evil presence. David Soul played the role in the ’70s mini-series take.

James Wan is among producers on the film, the latest in a long line of adaptations of best-selling Stephen King novels.
