Bruce Willis causes Joe Carnahan to quit Death Wish

Joe Carnahan has walked from the “Death Wish” remake, seemingly because he didn’t agree with MGM’s determination to cast Bruce Willis as Paul Kersey.

Deadline reports that Carnahan, who had attached himself to the project last year, exited because he didn’t think “Die Hard” star Willis was right for the role of the architect cum master of vengeance.

Shortly after the story broke Carnahan posted on Twitter : “You stick to your guns. You walk what you talk and you only make the things and do the work you love and believe in.”
