Captain America director set for Extinction

Joe Johnston (“Captain America : The First Avenger”) will direct sci-fi project “Extinction” for Good Universe, says The Hollywood Reporter.

David Hoberman and Todd Lieberman of Mandeville are producing the film, said to involve a man trying to protect his family at the time of an alien invasion.

Johnston, whose other credits include “Jumanji”, “The Rocketeer”, and “Jurassic Park III”, last directed the Max Minghella-starring “Not Safe For Work”.
