Sharknado 2 brings out the big guns!

In case you’ve been living in a boxed-in hotel room with Oldboy, Twitter-sensation “Sharknado” has spawned a sequel… one which is now complete with 100% more Andy Dick!

SyFy today announced that Vivica A. Fox (what!?), Mark McGrath (Okay, fair enough, he’s hosting Entertainment News shows – this can’t be any worse), Kelly Osbourne (Money’s money, right?), Andy Dick (Will do anything for a free lunch), Judah Friedlander (*shrugs*), and Judd Hirsch (no, man, no!) have joined the cast of “Sharknado 2 : The Second One”, which is about to Steadicam itself into New York. The band of familiar shark-bait join “Sharknado” heroes Ian Ziering and Tara Reid, along with returning director Anthony Ferrante. Twitter is also rumoured to make a reprise.

In this one, a deadly storm hits New York City – bringing with it those hurtling monsters of the sea! Fin (Ziering) and April (Reid) are, of course, the only ones able to stop the madness (and your remote control, of course).

“Independence Day” and “Kill Bill” star Fox will play Finn’s high-school pal, Skye; Sugar Ray singer McGrath is Fin’s brother-in-law, reality ‘star’ Osbourne is a flight attendant; TV legend Hirsch (who, like Fox, was also part of the “Independence Day” cast) is a Taxi driver; Andy Dick is a police officer; and Judah Friedlander (“Feast”) is playing someone named Brian. Likely all will have about eight minutes screen time before a horrible-looking computer-generated Shark gobbles them up.

Should be… something!
