The first trailer for “Clouds of Sils Maria” has been released in the lead up to its Cannes premiere.
Debuting at the festival today, the IFC drama stars Kristen Stewart, Juliette Binoche and Chloe Grace Moretz.
“Sils Maria” follows Maria Enders (Binoche), a successful yet aging actress who is asked to star in a revival of the play that once made her famous. However this time Maria is cast as an older character while young star Jo-Ann Ellis (Moretz) is given the central role that Maria once played. Stewart plays a prominent role as Maria’s personal assistant.
Brady Corbet, Johnny Flynn and Hans Zischler also star in the Olivier Assayas directed pic.
Following its premiere at Cannes today, the film will be out on limited release on December 1.
