According to producer Judd Apatow, production begun yesterday on the untitled Lonely Island movie.
Group members Andy Samberg, Akiva Schaffer, and Jorma Taccone star in the film, which the latter two co-directing.
According to THR, the film will be a satire of films like “Katy Perry : Part of Me” and “Justin Bieber : Never Say Never” and fix on “a rapper whose latest album bombs and he must do the unthinkable: a reunion concert with his former boy band.”
