Transformers sequels, spin-offs hire writers

A who’s who of the Hollywood screenwriting community has been hired to staff the “Transformers” writing room.

According to Deadline, Michael Bay, Steven Spielberg, and Lorenzo di Bonaventura have hired a number of worthy names to help with the upcoming “Transformers : Age of Extinction” sequels, and spin-off films.

Among the writers employed, Robert Kirkman (“The Walking Dead”), “Iron Man” scribes Art Marcum and Matt Holloway, “Incredible Hulk” writer Zak Penn, and Jeff Pinker (“The Amazing Spider-Man 2”). It’s too early to say who is working on what project, but obviously the studio has big plans for the “Transformers” universe.
