Originally planned to go into production this year
According to Crave Online, the “24” movie has been scrapped.
Series star Kiefer Sutherland was quoted as saying that the producers have decided to abandon the movie project for the meantime. Apparently doing the show and the film at the same time was just going to be a major headache for the cast and crew.
Though Sutherland says there’s a “possibility” that they may do a “24” movie after the series is done… it’s not happening before, as initially planned.
Though the script for the “24” film has been complete for a while, it wasn’t looking to shoot until Summer 2008 – while the show was on its hiatus.
