Some release dates firm up
May 2009 is shaping up as a big time Box Office battle in 3-D films according to reports today in “Variety”.
Dreamworks “Monsters vs. Aliens” from the creative team of Conrad Vernon (“Shrek 2”) & Rob Letterman (“Shark Tale”) has just done a backflip from May 22nd to May 15th in order to avoid competing directly against James Cameron’s upcoming Sci-Fi epic, “Avatar”, which is his first Directorial feature film since 1997’s “Titanic”.
Both films open a few weeks after the next installment of “The Chronicles of Narnia”, with “The Voyage of the Dawn Treader” on May 1st.
