“Saw V” & “Saw VI” On The Way?

Well, there’s already a Director

Well, it took “Friday the 13th” 6 years to get to part VI, it took “A Nightmare On Elm St” 5 years, and from the current looks of things, the “Saw” franchise is going to be right around that mark, with our pals over at Bloody Disgusting getting the gossip that David Hackl has gotten the go-ahead on both “Saw V” & “Saw VI”.

If David’s name sounds familiar to you – it should. He worked as the Production Designer on II-IV, and as a Second Unit Director on parts II & IV. Hackl will take over the reigns from Darren Lynn Bousman, who has helmed each installment since “Saw II”.

OK – who wants to put a bet down on when the “Jigsaw vs. Michael vs. Pinhead vs. Freddy vs. Ash” rumours start up?
