Just as much milk over at Lions Gate as there is at Gloria Jeans it seems.
The studio has announced they’re squeezing what they can out of some of their most profitable franchises, announcing TV spin-off’s of both "The Punisher" and "Dirty Dancing".
Jon Feltheimer, CEO of Lions Gate Films, tells Variety that NBC will play host to the two tube offerings, both, I’m assuming, featuring all-new casts.
"Dirty Dancing" has actually been given the TV series treatment before. Running from 1988-1989, the series starred Patrick Cassidy as Johnny Castle and Melora Hardin as Frances "Baby" Kellerman.
