Ben Affleck has opted out of Disney’s "Glory Road", according to Variety. The trade says it’s because of scheduling difficulties, I think it’s because Affleck got a map out and noticed that the filming locale is hours away from both a casino and strip-joint. Whatever the case, Daredevil has left the building.
"Hulk" star Josh Lucas is now poised to replace Affleck as Don Haskins in the Jerry Bruckheimer-produced biopic, which recounts the story of the Texas Western basketball coach who altered NCAA history when his all-black lineup of players won the championship in 1966.
Directed by commercials helmer James Gartner, the film is scheduled to start filming this August in Louisiana and Texas.
