Michael Pena (“American Hustle”, “End of Watch”) is in talks to play an undisclosed role in Edgar Wright’s “Ant-Man”, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The actor, says the trade, is playing a role described as a “tough Latino” who gets in on a lot of “physical play”. Marvel had also looked at Javier Bardem and Clifton Collins Jr for the part.
“Ant-Man”, due to begin production in April, stars Paul Rudd as Scott Lang, the desperate father who steals Dr. Hank Pym’s (Michael Douglas) technology, which enables a human to change size.
