Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldana will Smurf-up for the next three “Avatar” sequels, Fox announced today.
“Avatar 2” and “Avatar 3” are shooting back-to-back, with the first of the follow-ups set for a December 2016 release. The second and third sequel will follow in 2017 and 2018, respectively.
At this stage, big Jimbo Cameron plans to get rolling December this year or early next year.
