Ana de Armas in talks for Jonah Hill & Miles Teller comedy

With Jonah Hill and Miles Teller already locked in, Warner Bros. is in talks with Ana de Armas for the female lead in black comedy “Arms and the Dudes”.

Todd Phillips will direct from a script which Jason Smilovic is adapting from Guy Lawson’s Rolling Stone article.

The story centres on two unlikely arms dealers who received a $300 million contract to supply weapons for U.S. allies in Afghanistan. They soon found themselves in danger abroad and in trouble back home because they were completely out of their depth.

Bradley Cooper is producing – under the new production banner he formed with Phillips – with Mark Gordon who first acquired the rights to the article. Bryan Zuriff is exec producing.
