If romance isn’t your thing this Valentine’s Day, maybe the first trailer for Guillermo del Toro’s latest horror film “Crimson Peak” will be more to your liking.
Featuring everything from ghosts to creepy clown dolls to isolated mansions, the video gives us a look at stars Mia Wasikowska, Jessica Chastain, Tom Hiddleston and Charlie Hunnam in the period pic.
The film is set in Victorian-era England and tells the tale of a woman who falls for a mysterious stranger and moves in with him and his eccentric sister, only to later regret her decision after learning the house may have life of its own.
“Crimson Peak” will be released in the lead up to Halloween on October 16.
