Armie Hammer Joins Sheldon Turner’s By Virtue Fall

Armie Hammer sure has come a long way after starring in last year’s “The Social Network.” The actor, who has already starred alongside Leonardo DiCaprio in “J. Edgar” and will soon start work opposite Johnny Depp in “The Lone Ranger”, will be starring in the drama “By Virtue Fall”. “Up In The Air” co-writer Sheldon Turner will mark his directorial debut with the movie which he also wrote the script for.

Hammer will play an ATF agent framed on a corruption beef and sent to a maximum security federal prison. He turns into a badass to survive, and when he emerges from that hellhole, he devotes himself to getting revenge on the person who destroyed his life: his former partner (Eric Bana).

Deadline reports that the film will begin shooting later next year after Hammer wraps “Lone Ranger” in the summer. Hammer also plans to bulk up and shave his head to play the ATF agent, who puts on the bulk to survive in prison.
