Aussie actors in the running for Need for Speed movie

A fresh face might be behind the wheel when Dreamworks’ film version of “The Need for Speed” roars into theaters.

Though the studio were initially looking at everywhere-boy Liam Hemsworth to headline, Deadline says a newcomer will likely headline.

Among those on the audition-schedule, Aussies Brenton Thwaites (“Malificent”) and Luke Bracey (“Home & Away”).
