Bored to Death of these TV-to-movie rumors?

Quite a while ago, “Bored to Death” creator Jonathan Ames mentioned that he’d love to follow up the popular cable TV series with a feature film. It has, likely due to Ames’ busy schedule, been a little quiet over there in BTD film camp since that initial announcement. So what gives? Still a thing?

Speaking to Collider, Ames – who has a new show called “Blunt Talk” airing shortly – said he’s still very keen on regrouping Jason Schwartzman, Ted Danson and Zach Galifianakis for a reunion movie.

“What I like is that, in some ways, it’s still very much alive, people keep asking me about it, which is great. I’ve written two drafts of a Bored to Death movie, but I don’t know that they’re quite right so I’m going to take a third crack at it at some point.”
