Bradley Cooper brings Limitless to TV

CBS has ordered a pilot of “Limitless”, based on the movie of the same name starring Robert De Niro and Bradley Cooper.

Per Deadline, Cooper will executive produce the proposed series alongside Todd Phillips, his producing partner at Yet To Be Named Company, as well as Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci through their K/O Paper Products.

The film’s director Neil Burger is set to direct the potential pilot.

Written/executive produced by Craig Sweeny, the series is picking up where the movie left off. It follows Brian Sinclair, the character played in the movie by Cooper, as he discovers the power of the mysterious drug NZT, and is coerced into using his newfound drug enhanced abilities for good.

Relativity and Cooper have been on the project for a while, announcing it at MIPCOM in 2013.
