Bruce Willis talks Die Hard prequel

Bruce Willis in "Die Hard" (1988)

Unlike everyone else, “Die Hard” star Bruce Willis believes the newly announced prequel to the ’80s action classic is a ‘terrific idea’.

At the premiere of his new film “Rock the Kasbah”, Willis told ET Online that the new film – which will be directed by “Live Free or Die Hard” helmer Len Wiseman – is “a very good idea, a really tricky idea, and I’m very happy about it. It’s a really cool idea, because it’s the origin story. It’s gonna happen at the beginning of this. We’re going to bounce back and forth.”

The project – said to be titled “Die Hard : Year One” – would feature Willis’s older John McClane as well as flashback to a younger version of the character.
