Bryan Singer to remake a Jules Verne classic!

Via Instagram, Bryan Singer (“X-Men : Apocalypse”) has revealed that his next project will be “20,000 Leagues Under The Sea”.

This isn’t the same project that David Fincher was set to do with Disney, but a different take on the Jules Verne classic – likely at Fox, where Singer does his “X-Men” films.

Singer wrote : “It’s my 50th birthday (ouch), and I just put the finishing touches on the script for my next film. A story I’ve wanted to retell since childhood. I promise this will be an epic and emotional adventure for all ages! An adventure very dear to my heart. Not abandoning the #xmen universe. Very excited about #xmenapocalypse and beyond.”

As you’ll see on the script cover, the story is by Singer and Rick Sordelet and Dan Studney, and script attributed to Sordelet & Studney.
