Former ”Buffy the Vampire Slayer” alums Michelle ‘Dawn’ Trachtenberg and Seth ‘Oz’ Green are joining Billy Baldwin, Harold Perrineau Jr. and Katee Sackhoff in the dark comedy ”Sexy Evil Genius”.
In the film, an eclectic group of strangers are invited to a downtown Los Angeles bar run by Nikki (Sackhoff), a mutual ex-lover and possibly insane young woman who’s recently gotten out of prison for murdering her last ex-boyfriend. After Nikki arrives with her latest lover and fiancée, the morally-challenged lawyer who’s been handling her case, her current and former lovers soon realize they’re all caught in one of her brilliant, mischievous mind-games that may have deadly consequences.
The film will be directed by Veteran TV producer Shawn Piller who is making his feature directorial debut on the project, which was written by Scott Lew. And here’s a little factoid for you guys: Lew is an almost fully paralyzed scribe diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease), wrote the script by moving his head in slight motions that connect to a digital keyboard screen.
Green can currently be heard as the voice of Chris Griffin on ”Family Guy” while Trachtenberg was last seen in “Take Me Home Tonight”, played the evil Georgina Sparks on ”Gossip Girl” (no doubt she’ll make another appearance on there), as does Billy Baldwin.
