Bullock for Ocean’s Eleven spin-off

George Clooney is helping relaunch the “Ocean’s Eleven” series – with an all-female cast, says The Playlist.

In the works since last year, the movie hit a speed bump when series producer Jerry Weintraub sadly passed away but Clooney and (franchise helmer cum producer) Steven Soderbergh have opted to keep climbing up.

Taking it’s cue from the upcoming “Ghostbusters” reboot, the new “Ocean’s” will rework the stencil of the previous films by having Sandra Bullock and several other ladies play the main crooks.

Clooney, who played Danny Ocean in the three “Ocean’s” films, would produce and possibly cameo as the famed heist coordinator.

“Hunger Games” director Gary Ross is attached to direct, with Olivia Milch (“Little Women”) writing the screenplay.
