Carnahan gets in on Motorcade

Joe Carnahan is writing and directing action thriller “Motorcade”, says The Hollywood Reporter.

The long-in-the-works film hails from DreamWorks and producers Walter Parkers and Laurie MacDonald, and tells of a Secret Service agent who fails to prevent an attack that occurs on the president of the United States and his motorcade.

The studio picked the film up as a pitch back in 2004. At one stage, “24” alum Jon Cassar was set to direct.
