Nerdly chatter, birthed at the instagram account of Latino Review’s El Mayimbe, suggests that Warner might again be looking at Joe Carnahan’s “Smoking Aces” for their next Green Lantern (the last, as you’ll recall, was ‘Aces’ alum Ryan Reynolds).
Chris Pine, the “Star Trek” star who near had a second franchise to solidify his working future with – until “Jack Shadow : Shadow Recruit” flopped like Betty White’s bust, is reportedly in contention to play Hal Jordan in the upcoming big screen relaunch of the comic book property.
It’ll be a multi-pic deal for Pine, if he takes it, with solo movies and a “Justice League” movie or two, or three, all part of the package.
