Casting: Batman v Superman, Ronan, Schwimmer, Sturgess

IMDb has revealed that Lauren Cohan (“The Walking Dead”)  has joined the cast of “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” in the role of Martha Wayne, the mother of Bruce Wayne.

The studio is yet to confirm the casting, which IMDb tweeted earlier toady. Cohan’s role is also listed on the site.

Directed by Zack Snyder, the film also stars Henry Cavill as Superman, Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, Jeremy Irons as Alfred and Holly Hunter.

“Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” will be released on March 25, 2016.

 

 

“Brooklyn” star Saoirse Ronan has signed on to star in “Lady Bird”.

Actress Greta Gerwig is making her writing and directorial debut on the project which follows a high school senior, spending her last year at home in Sacramento.

The news was broken by Deadline.

 

 

David Schwimmer and Jim Sturgess will lead the cast of AMC and Lionsgate TV’s upcoming drama series “Feed the Beast”.

Based on the Danish drama “Bankerot”, the show centers on two best friends, Tommy Moran (Schwimmer) and Dion Patras (Sturgess), who take one last shot at their dream of opening a restaurant.

Michael Gladis, Lorenza Izzo, Christine Adams, John Doman, and Elijah Jacob co-star.

10 one-hour episodes will premiere in May 2016.
