Colin Hanks, Alex Pettyfer, Johnny Knoxville, Tracy Letts and singer Sky Ferreira have joined ”Elvis & Nixon”, the true story drama about the meeting between Elvis (played by Michael Shannon0 and Prez Richard Nixon (played by Kevin Spacey). X-Men Apocalypse
Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellan won’t reprise their roles as Professor X and Magneto for the next “X-Men” movie. “I was learning quite a lot more about [the film] last night, and it is going to be looking very much at the earlier lives of all our characters,” Stewart said of the upcoming Bryan Singer directed movie. “And so I don’t think we’ll be making an appearance.” (The Hollywood Reporter)
The Smurfs
“Homeland” star Mandy Patinkin will voice Papa Smurf in Sony Animation’s upcoming reboot of the “Smurfs” film franchise. The August 2016 release will be fully animated, as opposed to the previous films, which were a mix of CGI and live-action. (Heat Vision)
