Casting: Nocturnal Animals, LBJ, Ouija 2, Colony

Ellie Bamber will join Jake Gyllenhaal, Amy Adams, Michael Shannon, Kim Basinger, Isla Fisher, Armie Hammer and Aaron Taylor Johnson in Tom Ford’s “Nocturnal Animals”, reports Deadline.

Based on the Austin Wright novel “Tony And Susan”, the film centres on Susan Morrow (Adams), who, out of the blue, receives a package containing the manuscript of her ex-husband’s first novel. As she reads, she is drawn into the fictional life of Tony Hastings (Gyllenhaal). As his ordinary life is violently set off course, Susan is forced to confront her own past.

Bamber will play the daughter of Gyllenhaal’s character.

 

 

Michael Mosley (“Sirens”) will play politician Kenny O’Donnell in Rob Reiner’s “LBJ”, reports Variety.

Woody Harrelson  stars as Lyndon B. Johnson opposite Jeffrey Donovan as John F. Kennedy, Kim Allen as Jackie Kennedy, Jennifer Jason Leigh as Lady Bird Johnson, Michael Stahl-David as Bobby Kennedy, Richard Jenkins as Richard Russell and Bill Pullman as Ralph Yarborough.

 

 

Henry Thomas and Lulu Wilson have joined the cast of “Ouija 2”, reports THR.

Annalise Basso and Elizabeth Reaser star in the film from director Mike Flanagan.

“Ouija 2″ is set to open on October 21, 2016.

 

 

Thora Birch has nabbed a recurring role on upcoming USA Network thriller “Colony”.

Josh Holloway and Sarah Wayne Callies star in the series as parents in Los Angeles who are struggling to keep their family together and survive in a not-too-distant dystopian future.

Birch will play Morgan, a laid-back software engineer with a conscience.
