Central Intelligence & The Nice Guys get release dates

Warner Bros has reshuffled its release calendar.

The studio has moved Russell Crowe/Ryan Gosling detective thriller “The Nice Guys” from June 17, 2016, to May 20. Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart comedy “Central Intelligence” has taken the Jun 17 slot.

“Central Intelligence” is directed by “We’re the Millers” filmmaker Rawson Marshall Thurber. It follows a former high school sports star-turned-accountant (Hart) who is contacted by a classmate (Johnson) who was bullied and humiliated as a teen but is now a CIA contract killer. Johnson’s character ropes Hart’s into helping foil a plot to sell classified military secrets.

“The Nice Guys” is helmed by Shane Black and centres on a private eye who investigates the apparent suicide of a fading porn star in 1970s Los Angeles, ultimately uncovering a conspiracy.
