Vincent D’Onofrio, known for his performance as a villain in the recent Netflix show “Daredevil”, is looking to land another antagonistic role, this time in Warner Bros’ “CHiPs”.
Dax Shepard and Michael Pena are set to star as motorcycling police officers and best friends Jon Baker and Frank Poncherello in the film adaptation of the 1970s cop show.
D’Onofrio is in talks to play a ruthless former cop turned illegal car syndicate ringleader.
Shepard will also direct and write the script from a draft by Paul Kaplan and Mark Torgove.
