Christopher Walken to play Captain Hook on TV Peter Pan

Christopher Walken will play Captain Hook in NBC’s live ‘musical’ version of “Peter Pan”.

“He might be the first tap-dancing Hook you’ve ever seen,” NBC Entertainment chairman Bob Greenblatt told TV critics at the TCA’s this morning, according to Deadline.

Walken, no stranger to musical-skewed projects having appeared in everything from “Jersey Boys” to “Hairspray”, will fight Pan and the Croc on December 4.

Kristen Bell was approached to play Peter Pan but isn’t available.
