Nearly time to plug back into The Matrix. For the meantime, you’ll have to be happy with the the caravan of news that’s pulled in town this week on the super sequel. Firstly, the new full theatrical trailer for “The Matrix Revolutions” has just hit the web here and Moviehole’s review of the forthcoming “Matrix Reloaded” DVD is online here.   • Latino Review has a few pictures up from the set of “Cellular” starring Chris Evans and Kim Basinger. Check them out here.

  • E News Live contacted Tom Selleck’s people to see if there’s any chance he might be reprising his “Magnum P.I” role for the recently announced film. There was “no comment”.

  • Bloody Disgusting have cast and Director details for “Cube Zero” which has now wrapped and is headed to video stores next year.

  • CountingDown.com reports that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie will be shooting part of “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” at the new Bloomberg HQ in New York.

  • Creature Corner reports that Mick Garris is finally set to direct “Ride the Bullet”, an adaptation of the Stephen King classic about a man hitchhiking home from college, and the mysterious stranger that gives him a ride.

  • Russell Crowe gave FOX FM’s Tracy Bartram a shouting on air yesterday. He apparently caught her out not listening.

  • Zap2it.com reports that Greg Kinnear will guest on “Friends” November sweeps. He’ll play a Nobel Prize-winning scientist that is in charge of a grant that Ross really wants.

  • Full specs of the forthcoming “Terminator 3 : Rise of the Machines” DVD are up at Amazon.Com and for Australian readers here at EzyDVD.

  • The Matt Damon Column reports that “The Bourne Supremacy” will be partly filmed at the Babelsberg Studios in Potsdam, near Berlin, next February. The site also has a good pic of Damon and Heath Ledger as “The Brothers Grimm” up.

  • According to the Associated Press, producer Martin Poll and screenwriter Larry Cohen have accused 20th Century Fox of stealing their ideas for the movie “League of extraordinary gentlemen”. Details here.

  • Sly’s doing two cop conspiracy flicks? In addition to “Thugz Life” about the Biggie/Tupac murders, E Online says he’s doing “Rampart” as well, about the corruption-plagued L.A. police division of the same name.

  • Superhero Hype has published an excerpt from Wizard Magazine in which Director Sam Raimi talks a little bit about “Spider-Man 2” and the reasons for going with Alfred Molina as Doc Ock.

  • Monica Bellucci will star as the Evil Queen, a woman who has found eternal life but not eternal beauty, in the now shooting “Brothers Grimm” for Director Terry Gilliam.

  • The Rock will make “Spy Hunter”, an adaptation of the classic 1980s videogame, his next film says Variety. Production is scheduled for spring 2004.
