Clints Bits – 3/11

Caught “The Matrix Revolutions” today. There’s an embargo on releasing reviews till the day of opening, so all I can offer is a quick five cents. Ok, you know how everyone suspected that something grander, something that would help clear up all the mumbo-jumbo from the previous movies, was coming in the form of “Revolutions”? Well, it didn’t happen. You’ll be just as bewildered – only madder – by the end of this one too. Again, special effects and sets are outstanding, but I for one, am over it. Bullet time’s so yesterday. Ok, still a good film, just a bit of a flat ending to the series. Look forward to reading some more takes on it, and again seeing if repeated viewing improves it.Onto today’s bits, and items about "Superman", "Ice Age 2", "Man Thing", "Scary Movie 4" and, er, Daniel Baldwin.

  • New Line Cinema is developing Neil Zawacki’s book “How to be a Villain” for Mandeville Films to produce.
