Gravity – The long-awaited thriller is many things, but mainly it features the best performance by an actor this year (in Sandra Bullock’s frenzied doctor), the best use of 3D in eons (making it a must-see cinema experience), and the most engrossing spectacle of the year. ‘Gravity’ is deservedly responsible for bringing many back to the cinema this year.
