“Iron Man 3” – My favourite superhero movie of the year… likely due to the presence of Shane Black.
“The Hunger Games : Catching Fire” – Too early to call it the ‘Empire Strikes Back’ of the series?
“This is the End” – One of the comedy highlights of the year; a real, unexpected treat!
“Fruitvale Station” – Horribly depressing but powerful drama with a bravura turn from Michael B.Jordan
“The Spectacular Now” – John Hughes meets the largest bottle of Jim Beam you can find in this wonderfully realistic teen romance.
“Warm Bodies” – I love everything about this one… the actors, the music, the tone. Destined to become an ‘old reliable’ at my place.
