9. What Maisie Knew – Quite possibly one of the most beautiful films I’ve ever had the privilege of sitting through. Another reminder that sometimes it’s not the biological parent that necessarily has the right amount of love love, know-how and patience to shield and care for their child, but someone else – someone unexpected (and the kiddie knows all along, how that person/s is too).
