Cody Walker moves acting career into second gear

Paul Walker’s brother Cody – who, with brother Caleb, stepped in for their late brother to finish up some of the “Furious 7” scenes that Walker had yet to complete – is pursuing an acting career, according to The Hollywood Brother.

Cody, 26, is working with Walker’s manager Matt Luber, and taking meetings, to see if he can’t pursue a movie career for himself. While the most likely route would seemingly be a role in the “Fast & Furious” franchise, Caleb is believed to be open to anything – TV or Film.

Cody and Caleb Walker were stand-ins for their late brother on “Furious 7”, opening this week across the country, with Cody participating in many of the action sequences – including a moment where Brian O’Conner is desperately hanging onto an about-to-topple bus.

Cody has been managing Paul Walker’s Reach Out Worldwide, which helps emergency responders get into disaster stricken areas, in recent months.

The brothers are expected to attend the premiere of the film tonight, with Cody telling E! News he’s a little nervous.

“I haven’t seen the film in full. I’ve seen bits and pieces while working on post-production. To be honest, I’m a little nervous to see the completed project from an emotional standpoint..I know it’s going to be very emotional. So far, from what I’ve heard and seen, I think Paul would be proud.”

He adds, “I want this film to be the best one yet—and the most memorable. A lot of people are going to remember Paul by this movie, and I want it to be worthy.”
