Cujo remake to be called C.U.J.O

Sunn Classic Pictures’ remake of Stephen King’s “Cujo” will be significantly different from the previous film version.

The shingle are rebooting films from their library, with the 1984 classic the first cab off the rank.

The new film will be called “C.U.J.O.”, which stands for Canine Unit Joint Operation, and among it’s cast, “Ashes of Eden” actor DJ Perry.

Lang Elliott, president of the company, and director of “Cage” and “Cage II”, is set to direct.

Sunn Classic Pictures, also known as Schick Sunn Classic Pictures is an independent U.S.-based film distributor, founded in 1971. Their credits include the original “Cujo”, “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow”, “Gulliver’s Travels”, “Guardian of the Wilderness”, “The Fall of the House of Usher” and “The Deerslayer”.
