Damon Wayans Jr. (“New Girl”) is in negotiations to join New Line’s rom-com “How To Be Single”.
The ensemble cast already includes Dakota Johnson, Leslie Mann, Dan Stevens, Rebel Wilson and Alison Brie with Christian Ditter directing from a script by Marc Silverstein and Abby Kohn. Dana Fox is working on the latest draft.
The film is based on Liz Tuccillo’s novel about a New York woman’s search for love.
Producers are Foxand John Rickard. Filming will kick off in April.
