Out promoting his new flick “Swiss Army Man”, Daniel Radcliffe was asked whether he’d ever consider returning to the role that put him on the map – Harry Potter.
While Radcliffe, the star of the eight “Harry Potter” films, suggested it unlikely, he doesn’t rule it out entirely – and points to the latest “Star Wars” film as a good reason for an actor to never say never.
Speaking to Radio Times, he said : “It would depend on the script. The circumstances would have to be pretty extraordinary. But then I am sure Harrison Ford said that with Han Solo and look what happened there! So I am saying ‘no’ for now, but leaving room to backtrack in the future.”
While it might seem unlikely that the actor would star in a ninth “Harry Potter” film, bear in mind the new “Harry Potter” play “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” features Harry and friends as adults. Give it five or six years, and we might be lining up to see the film version of it – with the original cast.
